Bach-Thuan Bui
About Me
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Information Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University, and am supervised by Prof. Joo-Ho Lee. My research interests lie in the interplay between Computer Vision, 3D Geometry, and Deep Learning - with a particular focus on building lightweight visual mapping and localization systems. From 2020 to 2022, I was a master research student at the Advanced Intelligent System Lab, working with Prof. Joo-Ho Lee and Prof. Tran Dinh Tuan. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. My undergraduate research advisors are Dr. Linh Ho Manh and Dr. Son Xuat Ta.
